Rare map of Eretz Yisrael and the ancient world! Sefer Amtachas Binyamin on Tanach Furth, 1848 * 'Amtachas Binyamin' commentary on various obscure matters in Torah, Nevi'im and Kesuvim, by Rabbi Wolf Lichtenshtater of Baiersdorf. The sefer includes a large lithographed map (27x40 cm) titled ”Map of the Ancient Lands”, depicting Eretz Yisrael and the surrounding regions in early times, with marked boundaries of ”The Land of Goshen”! Additionally, the sefer features several lithographs, some folded, illustrating the vessels of the Beis Hamikdash (menorah, kiyor, etc.), the structure of the Third Beis Hamikdash according to Yechezkel's prophecy, and more. A complete copy, uniquely preserved with yellow paper wrappers at the beginning and end of the sefer. These yellow wrappers are not recorded in the Institute for Hebrew Bibliography, and are lacking in the copy held in the National Library of Israel. While the sefer itself was printed in Furth, the back cover lists the printing location as Erlangen, a town near Furth. Such a complete copy is extremely rare. Furth-Erlangen, 1848. Second edition.
