Melo Haro'im First Sefer of Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Yalish of Dinov First Edition. Zolkova, 1838 * With an exceptionally rare approbation by the Admor, author of Bnei Yissachar of Dinov! Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Yalish of Dinov (1778-1825), author of 'Melo Haro'im', was renowned as one of the greatest tzaddikim of chassidus and a leading Torah luminary of Galicia. He was a devoted talmid of the towering figures of chassidus: the Chozeh of Lublin, the Maggid of Kozhnitz, and Rebbe Menachem Mendel of Rimanov. From when he was young, he was also a dear friend and colleague of the Bnei Yissachar and the Yeshuos Yaakov. The author was niftar while still in his prime, at the young age of 48, in 1825. However, in his brilliance, he managed in that short time to write extraordinary sefarim covering all facets of Torah, both revealed and hidden. His friend, the Bnei Yissachar, said about him, ”He toiled and exerted himself in Torah in a brief span of days more than a seasoned talmid could achieve in a hundred years!” The sefer 'Melo Haro'im' was his first to appear in print, and through this sefer he became known to future generations simply as the ”Ba'al Melo Haro'im”. At the beginning of the sefer there is an exceedingly rare approbation from his friend, the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech of Dinov, author of Bnei Yissachar! The sefer contains two parts: Part I is a compilation of rulings of the Amoraim on hundreds of Talmudic sugiyos, enriched with the author's brilliant insights and intricate pilpulim - ”wondrous laws and remarkable discoveries”, as the author himself describes them in his introduction.
