Sefer Yesod of Slonim Chassidus Yesod Ha’avodah First Edition. Warsaw, 1892 * Sefer Yesod Ha’avoda by the Admor Rabbi Avraham of Slonim, founder of the Slonim dynasty. The sefer discusses fundamental topics of Chassidus including Torah lishmah, prayer, emunah peshuta, teshuva, connection with a tzaddik and more. At the beginning of the book there is an introduction by the author's grandson and future successor, the Admor Rabbi Shmuel of Slonim. Printed at the end of the sefer are “Hanhagos Yekaros” which were discovered in the hidden writings (Megillas Starim) of the Rebbe. There is a second part bearing its own title page containing sacred letters from the Rebbe, alongside letters from the holy Rabbi Moshe of Kobrin. A fine copy. Rabbi Avraham Weinberger of Slonim (1804 – 1883) was the founder of the Slonim Chassidus. He was born in Pinsk and studied under Rabbi Mordechai Noach of Lechovitch and Rabbi Moshe of Kobrin. A tremendous Torah scholar, he stood at the helm of the Slonim yeshiva and served as Rebbe of thousands of followers. His works include ‘Yesod Ha'avoda’, ‘Chesed LeAvraham’ and others. Warsaw, 1892.
