Miniature Siddur for the Five Fasts Amsterdam, 1740 * Order of the Five Fasts according to the rite of the Sephardic community: Tzom Gedaliah, the 10th of Teves, Ta’anis Esther, the 17th of Tammuz, and Tisha B'Av. A miniature volume, measuring only 8.5 cm! This is a complete siddur designated specifically for the fast days, and it includes the prayers of Shacharis, Maariv, and Minchah, together with the piyutim, kinnos, and Megillas Eichah. Printed on leaves 160-170 is the haftarah for Tisha B'Av, with a Ladino translation. Original leather binding, with gilt edges and elegant engravings (slightly faded). Amsterdam, 1740. Page Count: 199, [1] leaf. Size: Miniature format: only 8.5 cm. Condition: Good, some stains. Slight wear to the binding, clasp holes (without clasps).
