Magnificent Tanach in Small Volume With its Beautiful Original Leather Binding! Amsterdam, 1700 * Chamisha Chumshei Torah with the five Megillos, Nevi'im Rishonim, Achronim, and Kesuvim. A precise and carefully corrected edition in a pocket format. A beautiful volume! The edges of the leaves are gilded, with a delicate decorative embossing in the thickness of the leaves. Bound in its original leather binding, adorned on its entire surface with stunning gold stamps! The first title page is made of an impressive architectural copper engraving, bearing on its margins the handwritten signature of the publisher, Rabbi David Nunis Torres. Printing extended over a long span of nearly five years! The Chumash was printed in 1700, and the following sections in the subsequent years. The illustrated title page was printed at the completion of the publication, in 1705, and thus appears only in some copies (the Institute for Hebrew Bibliography records a copy without the illustrated title page).
