Autographed Letter by Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Satmar, author of Berach Moshe * A letter of approbation with the holy signature of the Admor Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Satmar, for the work of Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu Sternberg, a prominent Satmar chassid in Eretz Yisrael and a trusted confidant of the Admor Rabbi Yoel zt”l, author of Vayoel Moshe. The Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, author of Berach Moshe (1915–2006) , was the son of the Atzei Chaim of Sighet, and was named after his grandfather, the Yismach Moshe. He was one of the preeminent Rebbes in the post-Holocaust generation. He grew up in the home of his grandfather, the Admor Rabbi Shalom Eliezer of Ratzfert, and from the age of Bar Mitzvah learned under his uncle, the Admor Rabbi Yoel of Satmar. He served as Av Beis Din in Zenta and Sighet, and after the passing of the Divrei Yoel in 1979, he succeeded him as the Rebbe of the Satmar chassidus. The Rebbe added at the bottom of the leaf the date: ”Motza’ei Shabbos Kodesh, the second day of Rosh Chodesh Tamuz [5746] 1986,” and then his holy signature. Brooklyn, 1986.
