Teshuva on the Laws of Tzitzis in the Handwriting of Rabbi Yitzchak HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Stanislav 1890 * A teshuva in the handwriting of Rabbi Yitzchak HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Stanislav, the son of the Bar Levai, and the father of the Harei Besamim. The lengthy letter, spanning four pages, contains an extensive teshuva regarding the halachos of tzitzis. It is not signed (it is possible that the ending is missing). To the best of Zaidy's knowledge, this letter has never been published. Rabbi Yitzchak HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Stanislav (1828-1904) , was the son of the gaon the Bar Levai. He was close with the great figures of his generation and traveled to the Sar Shalom of Belz and to Rabbi Chaim of Sanz who were very fond of him. He was known as sharp and erudite, an exceptional darshan and a gifted baal tefillah. Of his sefarim, the following ones were published: Shu”t Toldos Yitzchak (Lemberg 1866) and Me'ah She'arim (ibid, 1886). Stanislav, 1890. [1] large folded leaf, containing four large pages. Each page's size: 21x34 cm. Condition: The letter has undergone professional restoration, with tears with some loss affecting a few words.
