Pesach Haggadah with Illustrations Exceedingly Rare Pages by the Alshich   Offenbach, 1795 * Pesach Haggadah with the commentary of the Alshich on the halachos of bedikas chometz, halachos and instructions in Yiddish, and a commentary in Yiddish printed at the bottom of the pages. The Haggadah is accompanied by woodcut illustrations: a depiction of the Beis Hamikdash, a family reclining around the Seder table, the Seder table with the roasted Korban Pesach, the harsh labor in Mitzrayim, and Yetzias Mitzrayim. (Some of the illustrations appear twice, in accordance with the relevant content next to the image.) A truly rare and entirely complete copy, including the first two leaves at the beginning of the Haggadah, which are missing in most known copies. These contain the 'Alshich (!) on the laws of bedikas chometz' as mentioned on the title page. These leaves are so rare that in the Otzar HaHaggados – who saw only incomplete copies – it is noted in the description of this Haggadah (no. 380) that the additions of the Alshich mentioned on the title page were not printed! Offenbach, 1795. Page Count: 44 leaves. Size : 17 cm. Condition : Good, a few stains. Typical German paper, somewhat worn. Repair at the edge of the title page. Original binding with an uncommon pattern (worn). Deficiency at the spine. The place of printing was determined by the illustration on the title page, which appears in the printing house of Tzvi Hirsch Segal Spitz, owner of the Offenbach printing house.
