Tzilosa D'Avraham by the Brother and Rebbi of the Meir Nesivim – Edited by the Arvei Nachal – Sudlikov, 1821 * Chiddushim on Shas, questions and answers, and some compilations on the Torah by “the Rav, the gaon, the chassid, the genius, the Rav of all the communities of the Diaspora, ” Rabbi Moshe Avraham Abush Margulies, Av Beis Din of Zabna. The author was the brother and rebbi of Rabbi Meir Margulies, Av Beis Din of Ostroh and author of Meir Nesivim. The editing of the sefer was entrusted to Rabbi David Shlomo Eibischitz, author of Levushei Srad and Arvei Nachal, who had been a disciple of the author, and had married his granddaughter, upon the counsel of the Meir Nesivim. The Levushei Srad also added chiddushim of his own, which he begins with the words, ”the copyreader said.” A major drasha of his appears on leaves 58–62. At the beginning of the sefer there is an especially long poem, spanning two pages, composed by Rabbi Betzalel Margulies, Av Beis Din of Ostroh — the son of the Meir Nesivim and nephew of the author. Half of the poem is devoted to praising the Levushei Srad, who dedicated himself to preparing the sefer for print for the benefit of those studying Torah. Sudlikov, 1821. First edition.
