Unique Hebrew Calendar with Prayers and Dozens of Fine Illustrations,   Verona, 1826 * An interesting miniature book for determining the Jewish calendar dates for 64 years (1827–1889). See Hebrew text for a detailed explanation of the calendar structure. Following the calendar, additional texts are printed, including: Tefillas HaDerech (the traveler’s prayer), the order of Sefiras Ha'omer, a haftarah chart according to Ashkenazi and Sephardi customs, and at the end, folk parables in Italian. Throughout the book there are over 30 beautiful illustrations, some of them quite unique, including: a peacock (!), the sun and moon combined with a human face, the twelve zodiac signs, floral designs, and more. Each page of the Sefiras Ha'omer includes an order of prayer for two days and one illustration. A rare book, including the folded calendar (which is essential for using the calendar properly).
