An important and interesting financial bill signed by the Rabbis of the city of Fez (Morocco) - 1861-1876
A handwritten financial document concerning the financial involvement of two women from privileged families in the community, in the area of the synagogue in the city of Fez; the courtyard, the women's aid and the synagogue's chairs, lanterns, Torah scrolls and their jewelry.
The document is written on a sheet of paper on both sides, and bears the signatures of the sages of Fez (Morocco).
On one side of the page is a note from 1861 signed by Rabbi Shlomo Eliyahu Ibn Tzur (his signature appears twice) and Rabbi Mordechai ben Shmul. Cheshvan 1860.
On the other side of the page are three banknotes from 1876, regarding the above-mentioned synagogue. Two of them are signed by Rabbi Chaim David HaCohen son of Rabbi Aharon Elkaltz and Rabbi Yaakov Kalfon. The third note is signed by Rabbi Yosef Halevi Ibn Yuli and Rabbi Raphael Yaakov ben Atar.
Rabbi Shlomo Eliyahu Ibn Tzur [1822-1873]. The grandson of Rabbi Yaakov Ibn Tzur (HaYavatz), he wrote many writings of tora in various topics, and even wrote responsa and rulings.
Double sheet. 35 cm.

שטר ממוני חשוב ומעניין בחתימות גאוני העיר פאס (מרוקו) - תרכ"א-תרל"ו
מסמך ממוני-משפטי בכת"י, הנוגע למעורבות הממונית של שתי נשים ממשפחות מיוחסות בקהילה, בשטח בית הכנסת שבעיר פאס; החצר, עזרת הנשים וכלי בית הכנסת - כסאות, עששיות, ספרי התורה ותכשיטיהם.
המסמך כתוב על גיליון נייר משני צידיו, ונושא את חתימותיהם של חכמי פאס (מרוקו).
בצדו האחד של הדף שטר משנת תרכ"א בחתימות רבי שלמה אליהו אבן צור (חתימתו מופיעה פעמיים) ורבי מרדכי בן שמול. חשוון תרכ"א [1860].
בצדו השני של הדף שלושה שטרות משנת תרל"ו, בעניין בית הכנסת הנ"ל. שניים מהם חתומים על ידי רבי חיים דוד הכהן ב"ר אהרן אלכלץ ורבי יעקב כלפון. השטר השלישי חתום על ידי רבי יוסף הלוי אבן יולי ורבי רפאל יעקב בן עטר. סיון תרל"ו [1876].
רבי שלמה אליהו אבן צור זצ"ל (שאב"ץ) [תקפ"ב-תרל"ג], נינו של רבי יעקב אבן צור (היעב"ץ), כתב חידושים רבים בכת"י על ספרים שונים, ואף כתב שו"ת ופסקי הלכות.
