A copy of Rabbi Ya'akov Yehoshua Morgenstern from Filov, the eldest son of Rabbi David of Kotsk
His handwritten signature appears three times, twice on the cover of the book and once more on the first page. Another seal of one of the members of the holy Kotsk dynasty was not identified, due to fading.
Rabbi Ya'akov Yehoshua Morgenshtan of Filov, the eldest son of Rabbi David of Katsak, the son of the successor of the Rabbi of Kotsk.
Upon his father's death, he was asked to take his father's place, because his humility he did not accept the leadership and transferred it to his younger brother, Rabbi Israel of Filov. After his brother's death, he officiated under him, until his passing on Pesach 1909.
1, 3-63 page. The second page is missing. The list of presubscribers is on the last page.
Good condition-. Cover wear. A few moth holes, including light trenches, with little damage to the text.

חתימתו בכתב ידו שלוש פעמים, פעמיים בשער הספר ופעם נוספת בדף הראשון. חותמת נוספת של אחד מבני שושלת הקודש קאצק לא זוהתה, מחמת דהיה.
הרה"ק רבי יעקב יהושע מורגנשטן מפילוב, בנו בכורו של רבי דוד מקאצק בנו ממשיך דרכו של השרף מקאצק.
בפטירת אביו נתבקש למאל מקום אביו, ובענותנותו לא קיבל ע"ע ההנהגה והעבירה לאחיו הצעיר ממנו רבי ישראל מפילוב. לאחר פטירת אביו כיהן תחתיו, עד להסתלקותו ביום טוב ראשון של פסח תרס"ט, זיע"א.
א, ג-סג דף. חסר הדף השני. רשימת הפרנומרנטן בדף האחרון.
מצב טוב-. בלאי בכריכה. נקבי עש מעטים, בהם תעלות קלות, עם פגיעה מועטה בטקסט.
