מי שעמדו מאחורי הופעת הגיליון היו 'ועד הכשרות של קהילת טורונטו' בראשות רבי יוסף ויינרב רבה של טורונטו, ורבי יעקב קמינצקי, אשר כיהן כרב רב בטורונטו שבקנדה, בשנים ה'תרצ"ח - ה'תש"ה.
