The Jews and peace - a message from the Dutch member of parliament Henry Van Cole, for the Jewish people and the need to take care of them after the First World War and the anti-Semitic disturbances that they experienced throughout Europe. Amsterdam, 1919
The author, who was a member of the Dutch Parliament, surveys the Jews in their colonies such as Russia, Poland, Romania, Galicia, Turkey and the Land of Israel. While referring to and comparing the anti-Semitic persecutions that the Jews go through to the Holocaust of the Armenian people by the Turks.
In his article Van Kool weighed in favor of the Balfour Declaration, and the need to give a solution to the Jewish people on the land of Israel.

המחבר שהיה חבר בפרלמנט ההולנדי סוקר את היהודים למושבותיהם כמו רוסיה, פולין רומניה, גליציה, טורקיה וארץ ישראל. תוך התייחסות והשוואה בין הרדיפות האנטישמיות שעוברים היהודים אל שואת העם הארמני על ידי הטורקים.
במאמרו מדד ואן קול בעד הצהרת בלפור, ובצורך לתת פתרון לעם היהודי על אדמת ארץ ישראל.
