Kabbalah: Sefer Adam Yashar by the Ari - first edition as edited by Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov, from a manuscript which was in his possession from the estate of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz - Cracow, 1885.
Sefer Adam Yashar, kabalistic writings of the holy Ari, which were hidden in the writings of his great disciple Rabbi Chaim Vital. These writings were hidden for years.
In the course of time, Rabbi Yaakov Zemach copied them, and the manuscript came into the possession of the Rebbe, the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, who in turn passed it on to the Rebbe, Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov, who first published it in this book before us.
In the preface to the sefer, the Admor Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov, details at length the provenance of the manuscript and the arrival of the copy in his hands. Also the Haskamah of the holy Rebbe Yechzekel Shraga of Shinova, and the Haskamah of the holy Rebbe David Halberstam of Krasnova.

ספר אדם ישר, דברי קבלה מאת האר"י הקדוש, אשר היו טמונים בכתבי תלמידו הגדול רבי חיים וויטאל. דברי קבלה אלו היו טמונים במשך שנים.
ברבות השנים העתיקם רבי יעקב צמח, והתגלגל כתב היד לאוצר גנזי האדמו"ר הדברי חיים מצאנז זיע"א, משם הגיעה העתקת כתב היד לידי האדמו"ר רבי שלמה הלברשטאם מבאבוב, אשר מסרם לדפוס לראשונה בספר זה שלפנינו.
בפתח ספר הסכמת האדמו"ר רבי שלמה הלברשטאם מבאבוב, בה מפרט בארוכה את השתלשלות כתב היד והגעת ההעתקה אל ידיו. כמ"כ הסכמות הרה"ק האדמו"ר רבי יחזקאל שרגא משינווא, והסכמת הרה"ק רבי דוד הלברשטאם מקרשנוב.
