The Bibliography of Israel, the magnum opus of the renowned bibliographer Moses Steinschneider, the father of Hebrew bibliography on Jewish literature, first Hebrew edition, with the author's notes, Vilna, 1897. In the book before us a comprehensive survey in four departments of all branches of Jewish literature. The book was translated into Hebrew by his disciple Zvi Maltar, before us is a copy of the first Hebrew edition, with notes by the author which were first printed in it. ספרות ישראל - חיבורו של הביבליוגרף הנודע משה שטיינשניידר אבי הביבליוגרפיה העברית על הספרות היהודית - מהדורה עברית ראשונה, בתוספת הערות המחבר, ווילנא, תרנ”ז | 1897 בספר שלפנינו סקירה מקיפה בארבע מחלקות על כל ענפי ספרות עם ישראל. הספר תורגם לעברית על ידי תלמידו צבי מאלטר, לפנינו עותק מהמהדורה העברית הראשונה, בתוספת הערות מאת מחבר שנדפסו בה לראשונה.
