Sefer Hadrat Eliyahu, by Rabbi Eliyahu ben Moshe, rabbi of Pintschow. Prague, 1785 - Important Haskama by the Noda Beyehuda, severe words against preachers of his day and against the combination of research with Torah words The book contains homiletic discourses on the Torah and aggadic sayings of the Sages, arranged in ten discourses, by the rabbi of Pintschow, Rabbi Elijah b. Moses, author of books; Machshevet Elohim, Ma'aneh Eliyahu, and Nifvhar Me'harutz. First and rare edition. In the begenning of the book an important Haskama from the author of the Noda Beyehuda, in which he writes at length of his hesitation to give approbations on Haggadah works, since many preachers deliver discourses which are not to the liking of the hearer, or others who in their pride imagine that they are revealing what was hidden by the Almighty.
