A collection of four letters by Yehuda Grinker, one of the founders of the moshava of Nahalal and the Seeds Company, concerning the writing of the book Nakhshonei Ha'Hula by the author A. M. Harizman, a letter to Rabbi Maimon and other letters. Nahalal, 1940s-50s. Yehuda Grinker [1897-1973], a pioneer of settlement and immigration, co-founder of the labor settlement of Nahalal and the Seeds Company, one of the first of Tnuva and emissary of the Moshav Movement and the Jewish Agency to Morocco who brought the Atlas Mountain Jews to Israel. Born in Yesod HaMa'ala in 1897, he joined the defense of Metulla and Tel Hai, where he met Joseph Trumpeldor. He then joined the group at Hulda, from which he and his wife joined the founding of the first moshav, Nahalal. In 1938 he joined Ben Zion Israeli of Kinneret Group, and together they smuggled some 7,000 date palm cuttings from El Arish in the Sinai, an operation which formed the basis of the date palm industry in the Hebrew agriculture. In 1939 he was a member of the executive committee of the Vegetable Growers' Association which founded the Seed Company. He was subsequently an ardent aliyah activist and was among those who brought to Israel the Jews of the Atlas Mountains. מקבץ ארבעה מכתבים מאת יהודה גרינקר ממייסדי המושבה נהלל וחברת הזרע, ענייני כתיבת הספר נחשוני החולה בידי הסופר א. מ. חריזמן, מכתב לרב מימון ומכתבים נוספים. נהלל, שנות הארבעים-חמישים יהודה גרינקר [1897-1973], מפעיל התיישבות ועליה, ממייסדי מושבת העובדים 'נהלל' והחברת הזרע, מראשוני תנובה ושליח תנועת המושבים והסוכנות היהודית למרוקו שהביא לעליית יהודי הרי האטלס לארץ. נולד ביסוד המעלה בשנת 1897, כשבגר השתתף בהגנה על מטולה ותל חי שם פגש את יוסף טרומפלדור. לאחר מכן הצטרף לקבוצת חולדה, משם הצטרף יחד עם רעייתו לייסוד מושב העובדים הראשון 'נהלל'. בשנת בשנת 1938 חבר לבן ציון ישראלי מקבוצת כנרת, ויחד הבריחו כ־7000 חוטרי דקל מאל עריש שבסיני, פעולה זו היוותה את היסוד לענף התמר בחקלאות העברית. בשנת 1939 היה חבר מזכירות ארגון מגדלי הירקות שהקימה את חברת 'הזרע'. לאחמ”כ היה פעיל עלייה נמרץ והיה מאלו שהביאו לעלייתם של לארץ של יהודי הרי האטלס.
