Hakria'ah ve'Hakedusha - Five Year Anniversary Issue of the Chabad Journal published in New York - New York, 1940-1945. Five-yearly publication of Hakria'ah ve'Hakedusha, Ktav Publishing House / Chabad Lubavitch, Brooklyn, New York, 1940-1945. (Yiddish and some English.) The volume has a frontispiece and indexes. The periodical Hakria'ah ve'Hakedusha appeared between 1940 and 1945 as a monthly by the Lubavitcher Rebbe's Chassidic Association, under his guidance, editing and participation of the Rayat”z. Its issues contained articles, talks and letters by the Rebbe, including the four famous ”Kol Koreh” proclamations in which the Rebbe announced the advent of the ”Immediately to Teshuvah, Immediately to Redemption” movement. In a section entitled ”Flying Letters” appeared unintelligible letter and word combinations, presumably composed by the Rayat”z. According to Chabad, these combinations contain divine prophecies, some of which have been retrospectively deciphered as predictions of future events, such as the Allied invasion of Europe in World War II.
