Mahar”i of Brona responsa - copy of the Geonim Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Zilberberg of Kutna - and his son Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg of Warsaw publisher of the works of the Mahar”l Zintz - a long and respectful gloss in handwriting. Mahar”i of Brona responsa, Shtetttin, 1863 - copy of the Geonim Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Zilberberg, Av Beis Din of Kutna and his son Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg of Warsaw, publisher of the works of Mahar”l Zintz. Their signatures on the flyleaves and a long and learned scholarly gloss in handwriting between the pages of the book. Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Beinish Zilberberg (1839-1886) was the rabbi of Kutna and later Rav and Av Beis Din of Wirzow, Poland, author of the book 'Alei Zayit' (the title of the book is a play on the title of his father's book 'Zayit Ra'anan'). In 1857, his father Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Zilberberg left the rabbinate in Kutna, ascended to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Jerusalem. His place in the rabbinate was taken by his son Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Beinish. After a time he left Kutna and was appointed Rav and Av Beit Din in Wirzow. Later he moved to Warsaw where he served as a Dayan. He died on the third night of Chanukah, 1887. Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg: (185--1930) of Warsaw, beloved talmid of the R. Israel Salanter, the Beit Halevi and the Chafetz Chaim, was known as the publisher of the works of the Maharal Zintz and was called by all R. Naftali Varshever. Many flocked to his doorstep. Born in Poland, to his father Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Zilberberg, Rav and Av Beis Din of Kutna and Wirzow. He was a student of Rabbi Israel Salanter and Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik of Brisk. He was close to the Netzi”v of Volozhin and the Chafetz Chaim, and also traveled to Rabbi Avraham Borstein of Soktshov and the Sfat Emet of Gur. שו”ת מהר”י מברונא - עותק הגאונים רבי אברהם בנימין זילברברג אבד”ק קונטא - ובנו רבי חיים יעקב נפתלי זילברברג המו”צ דווארשא מו”ל ספרי המהר”ל צינץ - הגהה ארוכה ומכובדת בכתב יד שו”ת מהר”י מברונא, שטעטטין, תרכ”ג - עותק הגאונים רבי אברהם בנימין זילברברג אבד”ק קונטא ובנו רבי חיים יעקב נפתלי זילברברג המו”צ דווארשא מו”ל ספרי המהר”ל צינץ. חתימות ידיהם בדפי הפורזץ והגהה עיונית למדנית ארוכה ומכובדת בכתב יד בין דפי הספר הגאון רבי אברהם בנימין בייניש זילברברג: (תקצ”ט–כ”ז בכסלו תרמ”ז) היה רבה של קוטנא ולאחר מכן רב ואב”ד וירשוב שבפולין, מחבר ספר 'עלי זית' שם הספר רומז לשם ספרו של אביו ”זית רענן”. בשנת תרי”ז עזב אביו רבי משה יהודה ליב זילברברג את הרבנות בקוטנא, עלה לארץ ישראל והתיישב בירושלים. את מקומו ברבנות תפס בנו רבי אברהם בנימין בייניש. כעבור זמן עזב את קוטנא והתמנה כרב ואב”ד וירשוב. בהמשך עבר לווארשה שם כיהן כמורה צדק. נפטר בנר שלישי של חנוכה ה'תרמ”ז. הגאון רבי חיים יעקב נפתלי זילברברג: (תר”י– י״ג באדר תר”ץ) מו”צ דק”ק ווארשא, תלמידם חביבם של רבי ישראל סלנטר, הבית הלוי והחפץ חיים, נודע כמו”ל ספרי מהרא”ל צינץ וכונה בפי כל ר' נפתלי וירשובר. רבים שחרו לפתחו בצדקותו. נולד בפולין, לאביו רבי אברהם בנימין זילברברג, רב ואב”ד קוטנא ווירשוב. היה מתלמידי רבי ישראל מסלנט ורבי יוסף דב סולובייצ'יק מבריסק. היה מקורב לנצי”ב מוולוז'ין ולחפץ חיים, וכמו כן נסע לרבי אברהם בורנשטיין מסוכטשוב ולאדמו”ר בעל השפת אמת מגור.
