Sefer Rishon Mekor Ha'Haim, sermons on the Five Megillot and the Prophets, by Rabbi Chaim Krakhmel - First Edition, Furth, 1697. Seal of ownership of R. Lapidoth b. Chaim of the community of Alkasat. Early ownership inscription on the cover. Additional inscription between the pages, and circular markings for marking on the book, throughout all the pages. The author Rabbi Chaim Krakhmel (1626 - approximately 1655) was a preacher in the congregation of Cracow. He was the son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Abraham Chaimsh of Cracow, and studied Torah with Rabbi Joel Sirkes, author of the Bayit Hadash, and by Rabbi Aharon Shimon Shapira, Rav of Prague. A handsome copy in well-preserved pages. ספר ראשון מקור החיים, דרושים על חמש מגילות ונביאים, מאת רבי חיים קראכמל - מהדורה ראשונה, פיורדא, תנ”ז | 1697 חותמת בעלות ר' לפידות ב”ר חיים מק”ק אלעקסאט. רישום בעלות מוקדם בשער הספר. רישום נוסף בין דפי הספר, וסימוני עיגולים לסימון ע”ג הספר, לאורך כל הדפים. המחבר רבי חיים קראכמל (שפ”ו - לערך תט”ו) דרשן בק”ק קראקא. חתנו של הגאון רבי אברהם חיימ'ש מקראקא, למד תורה אצל רבי יואל סירקיש בעל הב”ח, ואצל רבי אהרן שמעון שפירא אב”ד פראג. עותק נאה בדפים שמורים.
