Midrash Tanchuma, Warsaw, 1902 - Rabbi Tzvi Schwartz's copy with birth date notations of his sons, daughters and grandchildren. In the front of the book a chilling testimony by his son, Rabbi Aharon Yehuda, later the Rebbe's secretary, of the martyrdom of his father Rabbi Tzvi and his mother Rachele in Auschwitz by the Nazis. This entry was written in 1949. Also a note he made on Motzei Shabbos Vayishlach, 5719, on the subject of Melaveh Malka.
