A very interesting poster from the Mandate period – a reward for the recovery of the theft! A page by Aaron Rosenblatt, a worker in the Migdal-Tiberias dairy, offering a ten Egyptian pound reward ”to anyone who will see and inform me of the stolen items”. Among the stolen items: special rings, pins and earrings. One of the rings belongs to Sarah Gutbeter. Undated (probably before the 1920s). Sarah Gutbeter was a young woman who died at the age of twenty during the First World War of typhus, and is buried in the Zefat cemetery. Her father was Rabbi Eliyahu Gutbeter, a Karlin Hasid and director of the orphanage 'Ezrat HaGalil' in Zefat. He was a member of the secret society 'Achva'. A unique page, from which we may learn of one of the ways in which lost and stolen items were recovered in that era. Good condition. Stains, small tear at top, folding and creasing marks. כרזה מאוד מעניינת מתקופת המנדט – פרס על מציאת הגניבה! דף מאת אהרן רוזנבלט, פועל במחלבת מגדל-טבריה, המעמיד פרס של עשר לירות מצריות ”לכל מי שיראה ויודיע לי על החפצים שנגנבו ממני”. בין הפריטים הגנובים: טבעות מיוחדות, סיכות ואוזניות. אחת הטבעות היא של שרה גוטבטר. ללא תאריך (כנראה לפני שנות העשרים). שרה גוטבטר הייתה צעירה שנפטרה בגיל עשרים, בזמן מלחמת העולם הראשונה, ממחלת הטיפוס, וקבורה בבית העלמין בצפת. אביה היה הרב אליהו גוטבטר זצ”ל, חסיד קרלין ומנהל בית היתומים 'עזרת הגליל' בצפת. היה חבר באגודת הסתרים 'אחוה'. דף ייחודי, שממנו אפשר ללמוד על אחת הדרכים שהיו נהוגות באותה תקופה למציאת אבידות וגניבות. מצב טוב. כתמים, קרע קטן למעלה, סימני קיפול וקמטים.
