Bidspirit auction | The ”Keren HaTorah” of Agudath

The ”Keren HaTorah” of Agudath Israel, Holland - a collection of extremely rare issues, published in Rotterdam between the years 1927-1933 - virtually all issues published in those years. These issues are exceptionally rare, and of great importance both as a very rare periodical, and more importantly as materials from the activities of Agudath Israel in Holland, materials from the activities of Agudath Israel and ”Keren HaTorah” in Holland are extremely rare and not at all available. The pages before us shed light on the activities of Agudath Israel in Holland and on the education of the Yaldei Yisrael on the Torah and the mitzvot in the few very Orthodox communities in Holland. In the information sheets there is much information about the life of the communities, about the activities of the Keren HaTorah for the benefit of the yeshivot, and about the activities of the Bais Yaakov movement for the benefit of the education of the Bnot Yisrael. Extremely rare. Not appearing in Bidspirit auctions and not appearing in the National Library catalogue. It is further noted that the National Library catalogue does not include any items from the activities of the Keren HaTorah in Holland, which indicates the rarity and importance of the present sheets. Apparently these sheets do not bibliographically record at all, but have not been checked by us to any extent. קרן התורה של אגודת ישראל, בהולנד - אוסף גיליונות נדירים ביותר, שהופיעו ברוטרדם בין השנים תרפ”ז-תרצ”ג - רוב ככל הגיליונות שהופיעו בשנים אלו גיליונות אלו הינם יוצאי דופן בנדירותם, וחשיבותם רבה הן כגיליונות כתב עת נדיר מאוד, ויתרה מכך כחומרים מפעילות אגודת ישראל בהולנד, חומרים של פעילות אגודת ישראל וקרן התורה בהולנד הינם נדירים ביותר, ולא מצויים כלל. הגיליונות שלפנינו שופכים אור על פעילות אגודת ישראל בהולנד ועל חינוך ילדי ישראל על ברכי התורה והמצוות בקהילות החרדים (המעטות מאוד) בהולנד. בגיליונות מידע רב על חיי הקהילות, על פעילות קרן התורה לעמן עולם הישיבות ועל פעילות תנועת בית יעקב למען חינוך בנות ישראל. גיליונות נדירים ביותר. לא הופיעו במכירות פומביות בבידפסיריט ואינם מופיעים בקטלוג הספריה הלאומי. יצוין עוד, שבקטלוג הספריה הלאומית לא מופיעים כלל פריטים מפעילות קרן התורה בהולנד, מה שמצביע על נדירות וחשיבות הגיליונות שלפנינו. ככל הנראה גיליונות אלו אינם רושמים ביבליוגרפית כלל, אך לא נבדק על ידנו כל הצורך.
