The polemic of the Yeshiva of Rabbi Reines - Sefer Shnei HaMeo'rot, by Rabbi Yitzchak Yakov Reines - the second volume was entirely devoted to answering the charges printed against the Yeshiva he opened in Lida - Piotrkow, 1913. The two-volume work of Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Reines, one of the leading rabbis of the Mizrachi movement - first edition, two volumes, Piotrkow, 1913. Part One, The Light of the Nations - A wide-ranging discussion of the question of anti-Semitism and how to combat it. Part Two is an essay entitled ”Or Torah” - this essay deals with the controversy that arose over his yeshiva, ”and concerning some incidents that happened to me on account of this matter”. In this article, Rabbi Reines answers the polemic that would be raised against his yeshiva and replies to his detractors. In the important introduction (which, of course, does not appear in the version of the article that was printed in Shnei HaMeo'rot) he explains the reason that he published the article on its own, even though it had already been printed in his book Shenei HaMeo'rot in the same year - ”to clarify the ways of the great yeshiva that I founded here more than eight years ago, so that everyone will know the necessity of such a yeshiva, and the benefit that can be expected from it, and for this reason, so that this article will spread more widely in the world, I said that I would also print it in a separate pamphlet, at a cost of some thousands of exemplars”. פולמוס ישיבת הרב ריינעס - ספר שני המאורות, מאת רבי יצחק יקב ריינעס - חלק שני הוקדש כולו למענה על הטענות שנדפסו כנגד הישיבה שפתח בלידא - פיעטרקוב, תרע”ג | 1913 ספר שני המאורות מאת רבי יצחק יעקב ריינעס, מראשי רבני תנועת המזרחי - מהדורה ראשונה, שני החלקים, פיעטרקוב, תרע”ג | 1913 חלק ראשון, מאמר אור העמים - עיסוק רחב בשאלת האנטישמיות ובדרך לפעול למנוע אותה. חלק שני הינו מאמר 'אור תורה' - מאמר זה עוסק בפולמוס שהיה על ישיבתו, ”ואודות איזה מקרים שקרה לי לרגלי העניין הזה”. במאמר זה עונה הרב ריינס על הפולמוס שיתעורר כנגד ישיבתו ומשיב חורפיו דבר. בהקדמה החשובה (שכמובן אינה מופיעה בנוסח המאמר שנדפס ב'שני המאורות') הוא מבאר את הסיבה שהוציא לאור את המאמר בפני עצמו, הגם שכבר נדפס בספרו 'שני המאורות' באותה שנה - ”לברר את הליכות הישיבה הגדולה שייסדתי פה זה יותר משמונה שנים, למען שידעו הכל נחיצותה של ישיבה כזו, ואת התועלת שיש לקוות ממנה, ולזאת למען שהמאמר הזה יתפשט יותר בעולם אמרתי להוציאו גם בחוברת מיוחדת, בסכום של איזה אלפים אכזמפילירין”.
