The Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel HaKohen Fried, Av Beit Din of Kapis, was among the elders of the generation, a prominent disciple of the ”Divrei Chaim” of Sanz. He served in the rabbinate of Kapis for decades and is known as the author of the book ”Zichron Yehoshua”. The Gaon Rabbi Ben Zion Weiss, Av Beit Din of Rosvigovo (born in the late 19th century - perished in the Holocaust, 1944), served as rabbi and Av Beit Din of Rosvigovo until the destruction of the community during the Second World War. He was the son of a distinguished rabbinic family on both sides: on his father's side, he was the son of Rabbi Aharon Weiss (Ra'avad of Munkacs), grandson of Rabbi Shmuel Tzvi Weiss, nephew of the Imrei Yosef of Spinka, and great-nephew of the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Weiss, Av Beit Din of Svaliava (author of ”Beit Yitzchak”). 58 leaves.
