Beit Vaad LaChachamim, edited by Yosef Shimon Pollack of Satmar, a volume of issues of the monthly periodical known for the sharp, impartial polemics conducted on its pages, issues of the years 1931-1932. Among the issues, we find a sharp polemic against the Agudath HaRabbanim in the USA. In a letter attributed to Rabbi Gavriel Zev Margolis, president of 'Knesset HaRabbanim', he excommunicates Rabbi Eliezer Silver, Rabbi Yosef Konvitz, and Rabbi Yisrael Rosenberg, refraining from even addressing them with the title of rabbi. Likewise, we find interesting news regarding community life, notices on the passing of the Geonim of Israel Rabbi Shimon Sofer of Paks and Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, Ra'avad of Jerusalem, and extensive news regarding Jewish life in America. In booklet 7-8, greetings honoring the appointment of Rabbi Yehoshua Greenwald as rabbi of the holy community of Ungvar. Good condition. Well-preserved. Minor tears.
