Cobalt-Decorated Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher Attributed to Richard Remmey - This salt-glazed stoneware pitcher features an ovoid body, a cylindrical neck with a flared rim, a pinched spout, and an applied strap handle. The exterior displays a classic salt-glazed texture with a buff-colored body. The decoration consists of hand-brushed cobalt blue slip in stylized foliate and floral motifs. The neck features two vertical leaf sprays, while the main body is adorned with a central floral cluster on the front and horizontal fronds extending toward the back. Additional cobalt accents are present at the upper and lower handle terminals. No maker's stamps or capacity markings are visible on the neck, shoulder, or body of the vessel. The underside is unglazed and shows no visible incised or stamped marks.
