The piece features a dark-painted head with inset yellow glass eyes and a long, sloping bill. The body is finished in a light-colored paint with dark-painted breast and tail sections, exhibiting a mottled texturing intended to mimic natural plumage. The decoy is constructed of solid wood and retains its original form.
