This sculptural desk accessory features a stylized pine tree, representing the company's logo, emerging from a base formed by three stacked layers of simulated seed sacks. The object is finished with an aged bronze-toned coating over a cast metal body. Raised lettering is cast into the front and sides of the sacks. The front-facing sacks are marked ALBERT, DICKINSON, COMPANY, and CHICAGO U.S.A. at the base. The side-facing sacks are inscribed with DICKINSON'S, PINE-TREE, BRAND, and SEED SPECIALISTS. The top surface of the sacks near the tree trunk features the words PINE-TREE. This item served as a promotional piece for the firm's Pine Tree Brand line of seeds during the early 20th century.
