A Pair of Vintage Dettra Flag Products Miniature 48-Star Silk Flags with Original Box - This vintage display set, manufactured by Dettra Flag Products of Oaks, Pennsylvania, consists of two miniature United States flags and their original retail packaging. Designated as Model No. 146, each flag features a 48-star field arranged in a six-by-eight grid, a configuration used between 1912 and 1959. The flags are made of silk, marketed as Perfection Silk on the box, and are bordered with a yellow fringe. They are mounted on slender metal poles with a brass-finish and pointed finials. The original printed cardboard box features the manufacturer shield logo and the slogan EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD DISPLAY AN AMERICAN FLAG. Text on the box describes the set as suitable for banquets, hotels, clubs, social affairs, and for table, desk, or mantle decoration.
