Antique Kraus and Co. In-BETween Cigarette Tobacco Tin - This is a lithographed metal advertising tin for In-B-Tween brand Cigarettes, produced by Kraus and Co., Inc. of Baltimore, Maryland. The rectangular tin features a gold-toned lithographed finish decorated with dark green diagonal stripes and bold lettering. The front displays a distinctive trademark logo consisting of a stylized winged insect with the words IN, CIGARRITUS, and TWEEN incorporated into its anatomy. Below the logo is the text TRADEMARK and a copyright line reading COPYRIGHT 1914 BY KRAUS AND CO., INC. BALTO., MD. The reverse side contains a green-printed frame with a multi-line manufacturer's notice regarding legal requirements for cigar packaging and the reuse of tax stamps, flanked by the text FACTORY NO. 11, DIST.
