The item consists of an embossed metal lid fitted onto a cylindrical heavy paperboard base. The lid features a central monogram logo with the interlocking letters U, S, and T, surrounded by the perimeter text UNITED STATES TOBACCO CO. The lid is constructed of metal with a gold-tone finish.
