Vintage Edgeworth Extra High Grade Sliced Pipe Tobacco Tin by Larus and Bro. Co. - A vintage Edgeworth Extra High Grade Sliced Pipe Tobacco pocket tin manufactured by Larus and Bro. Co. of Richmond, Virginia. This rectangular metal container features a hinged lid with a lithographed turquoise field and dark blue graphics. The lid is decorated with ornate scrollwork borders and central text reading EDGEWORTH EXTRA HIGH GRADE SLICED PIPE TOBACCO. The manufacturer name LARUS and BRO. CO. RICHMOND, VA. U.S.A. is printed along the lower edge of the lid. A partial yellow paper United States Internal Revenue tax stamp remains adhered to the left side of the lid. The underside and sides of the tin show significant oxidation. A modern white adhesive inventory label is present on the base with handwritten notations TCS 521 and 93 proof.
