Patterson Tobacco Co. of Richmond, Virginia. The tin is designed in the form of a miniature steamer or traveling trunk. The lithography features a faux-wood grain pattern accented by black vertical straps with simulated rivets and corner brackets. The front panel contains a central horizontal band with the text PATTERSON'S and SEAL in quotation marks, with CUT PLUG positioned below.
