The rectangular tin features a dark blue background with decorative yellow scrollwork and red and gold-tone lettering. The side panels display the text Extra Mild above Train Master in large red block letters outlined in gold, with Invincible printed below. The base is stamped with Factory No. 1171, 1st Dist. PA and the numeral 25, indicating the original contents quantity. A black-inked legal notice on the bottom cautions against the reuse of the box or its stamps.
