Andrews Thurston Durum Semolina Advertising Grain Paperweight - This vintage advertising paperweight and counter display was produced for the Andrews Thurston milling company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The object features a clear hemispherical dome, likely constructed of lucite or an early synthetic plastic, which encases a collection of durum wheat grain. A multi-colored paper label is fixed within the dome over the seeds. The label contains a blue banner at the top with the word DURUM, with ANDREWS THURSTON arched below it.
