A Vintage Ramses Diaphragm Fitting Ring Set by Julius Schmid Inc. - This lot features a mid-20th-century medical diagnostic set designed for sizing diaphragms, manufactured under the Ramses brand by Julius Schmid, Inc. The set consists of two molded black Bakelite stands and a full complement of nine fitting rings. One stand serves as a storage rack with nine dedicated slots arranged in ascending order. The front of one stand is marked in gold-tone lettering with the script Ramses logo, the words FITTING RINGS, and the text T.M. REG. U.S. & CAN. PAT. OFF. and MADE IN U.S.A. The side of the rack features a graduated numerical scale in white for diameters 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, and 90. The fitting rings consist of internal spring coils with a flexible outer coating. At least one ring bears the embossed manufacturer name JULIUS SCHMID INC. on its outer surface.
