Incredible Explanations on the Concept of Reincarnation and the Plagues of Egypt – In the Handwriting of the Tzaddik Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz, Son-in-Law of the Holy Rebbe 'Menuchas Asher' of Tschenger
Incredible insights on the Parshas Bo,
including topics of repentance, confession, the plagues of Egypt, and the cycle of reincarnations in plants, animals, and the elevation of souls. Written in the autograph of the Tzaddik Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz, Av Beis Din of Tschetchewitz and son-in-law of the holy Rebbe Rabbi Asher Anshel Unger of Tschenger, author of Menuchas Asher.
Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz (born 1828) was the son of the renowned Tzaddik Rabbi Natan Peitel, author of D'varai R'nuf. Upon reaching maturity, he married the daughter of the Tzaddik Rabbi Asher Anshel Unger, the holy Rebbe of Tschenger. He was ordained by Rabbi Meir Shick and his father-in-law, and was also a student of Rabbi Meir Shick. In 1862, he was appointed Av Beis Din of Alkanai and later of Tschetchewitz. Due to his deep admiration for his teacher Rabbi Meir Shick, Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch brought his teachings into his own works. In one instance, Rabbi Meir Shick praised him, saying, "I have no doubt in the great holiness and Torah knowledge of Rabbi Yehoshua Baruch Reinitz, Av Beis Din of Tschetchewitz." (from Mechaserim B, 7).
He corresponded with great Torah leaders of his time, including the Shvut Yaakov and Maharam Shick, who responded with respect. One of his writings, Teshuva Me'ahava, was published alongside the book Lev HaIvri.
