"The Torah he has studied in private announces him in the markets and cities…" Letter of recommendation and effusive praise for the Aderes, written upon his request!!! Handwritten and signed by Harav Moshe Aryeh Leib-Leitch Rosenbaum, one of the greatest disciples of the Chasam Sofer and a dayan in Pressburg.
Letter of recommendation, filled with wondrous descriptions and praises for Harav Eliyahu Dovid Rabinowitz-Teomim – the Aderes—handwritten and signed by Harav Moshe Aryeh Leib-Leitch Rosenbaum, one of the greatest disciples of the Chasam Sofer and a dayan in Pressburg.
20/25 cm. 15 lines in his handwriting, plus his signature. Red wax seal (mostly intact). Tears and some stains and creases. Fair-good condition.
"...להאי גברא יקירא... מלא תורה כרימון.... אב בחכמה ורך בשנים ה"ה כבוד הרב המאור הגדול חריף ובקי מו"ה אליהו דוד בן לאותו צדיק הגאון מו"ה בנימין זצלה"ה .... שבילי דאורייתא לי' נהירין, תורתו שעסק בה בחדרין מכרזת עליו בשוקי ובעירין......".
מכתב המלצה, מלא בתארים ושבחים מופלאים על הגאון רבי אליהו דוד רבינוביץ תאומים - האדר"ת, בכ"י וחתימת הגאון רבי משה אריה ליב ליטש רוזנבוים מגדולי תלמידי מרן החתם סופר ודיין בפרשבורג.
20/25 ס"מ. 15 שורות בכי"'ק וחתימתו. חותמת שעווה אדומה(רובה שלימה). קרעים ומעט כתמים וקמטים. מצב בינוני – טוב.
הגאון רבי משה אריה ליב ליטש רוזנבוים [תק"ס – תרל"ז] תלמיד מרן החתם סופר. כבר בצעירותו כונה ע"י רבו החת"ס "הדיין מפרשבורג" ואף הוסמך על ידו. כיהן כדיין בפרשבורג. בן הגאון רבי יהודה הלוי וחתנו של הגביר רבי גרשון ב"ק ממאגענדארף. חיבר ספרים רבים.
הגאון רבי אליהו דוד רבינוביץ תאומים - האדר"ת [תר"ג – תרס"ה] מגדולי רבני וגאוני ישראל. רבן של הערים פוניבז' ומיר שבליטא ובסוף ימיו רבה של ירושלים. כתב ספרים רבים(למעלה מ-120!) ורק שניים מהם נדפסו בחייו.
