Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, Caliber .38 WCF
Serial Number: 251147B Design: This Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle is a third model; the dust cover rail is an integral part of the frame. The full octagonal 24" barrel is marked "King's improvement" with the 1860 and 1866 patent dates. Mechanics appear to be good. Caliber .38 WCF. This is a pre-1898 product. The bore is dark. The metal finish is brown patina overall with traces of original blue still visible on the barrel in the protected areas. No cracks noticed on the walnut stock. Condition: Good.
