Glosses and Corrections Handwritten by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Proofreading Leaves of the Booklet of the Rebbe, the "Tzemach Tzeddek" – 1952
Proofreading leaves for printing the booklet "Reshimot Al Megilat Eichah - Miluim" [Notes on Megillat Eichah - Addendum], by the Rebbe, the Tzemach Tzeddek of Chabad, with glosses and corrections handwritten by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Printed sheets, cut into seven.
On all the leaves there are many glosses in pencil (additions and corrections) handwritten by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. These glosses appear in the final printed edition of the booklet which was published in 1952.
This book of addendum was printed to complete the notes of the "Tzemach Tzeddek" on Eichah which were printed in 1951, after the Rebbe Received a handwritten notebook ("bichel") with sections of commentaries on Eichah which had not been printed. In the introduction that the Rebbe added to the book, he wrote: "Sometime after printing the 'Notes on Megillat Eichah' by the Rebbe, the "Tzemach Tzeddek", a 'bichel' of his teachings in the handwriting of a copier came into my possession which apparently is a copy of the 'bichel' on the Five Megillot. It contained several notes on Megillat Eichah which have not been included in the notes printed last year and I am publishing them in this booklet…Menachem Schneersohn".

Condition: Good. Folding marks. The sheets are bound with a new, impressive leather binding.
