A collection of bound leaves with Torah novellae handwritten by Rabbi Yisrael Kanievsky, the "Steipler".
In many places there are additions and erasures in his handwriting. It is most likely that there are textual variations between the printed version and the version before us, possibly significant ones. In any case, there are many opinions of the Steipler that have been erased here by line (but still entirely readable) which have never been printed.
Each leaf is written on both its sides.
The content of the leaves
Siman 7. The Ketubot tractate leaf 110.
The laws of the Temple.
As above and the laws of the graves of pagans.
"On the matter of a Cohen who hired a cow from Israel. Kehilot Ya'akov Siman 22".
Plaginan ne'emanut.
"About revision while talking. Kehilot Ya'akov Siman 25".
Safek Mamona Le'Kula and the matter that is referred to in the next paragraph.
"About a baby found for matters of damages. Kehilot Ya'akov Siman 23".
The laws of Terumah.
"An addition to side 6 page b where "addition" is written". [one page].
The size of the leaves is approximately 20 cm. the last leaf is smaller and is the official stationery of the Steipler: "Ram and manager of the 'Beit Yosef' Yeshiva of Bnei Berak".
Condition: Good. Nice, new leather binding. Typical wear. Stains of use and wrinkles. The first leaf is torn due to folding, with no omission of text.
