Polemic: Letter against Agudat Yisrael by the Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch
Letter against Agudat Yisrael by the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
A booklet containing " a direct letter to 'Moatzei Ha'Torah' of Poland … and especially to the Rebbe … of Gur and … the Rebbe … of Radzyn" and an additional short letter. Against "Moetzet Gedolei Ha'Torah" of Agudat Yisrael of Poland, against the education network "Yesodei Ha'Torah" and against "Keren Eretz Yisrael" whose goal is to settle religious Jews in the Land of Israel.
Polemic booklets like the one before us have usually not survived for the obvious reason that they extremely annoyed the population of Jerusalem which supported Agudat Yisrael and saw such booklets as an insult to the rabbis and Rebbes who did support Agudat Yisrael and who are specifically mentioned by the booklet. Therefore, such booklets were destroyed or archived, making them extremely rare.
