Rachel Shavit-Bentoitz – Oil on Canvas – Untitled

Rachel Shavit-Bentoitz was an Israeli artist and sketcher. She was born in 1929. She was one of the founders of the Aklim Group, together with the painter Eliyahu Gat. She was the chairman of the Society of Painters and Sculptors of Tel Aviv during the years 1989-2005, chairman of the Artists Campus of Safed during the years 1997-2201 and an art teacher in various art institutions. Today she is the honorary president of the Tel Aviv Artists House.
Rachel Shavit-Bentoitz exhibited in dozens exhibitions in Israel, Boston and Paris. She was the curator of approximately 10 exhibitions in Israel and abroad. He works of art are exhibited in Museums in Israel and private collections in Israel and abroad.
