Feodorovna are reproduced on separate
pages by the Expedition of procurement of
state papers, phototypes and autotypes - by
Golike and Wilborg, as well as by the art studio
'Union'. With the illustrated publishing covers made by M. V. Dobuzhinsky. Minor stains on covers, insignificant tears of spines, loss
of fragments of the spine (Vol. 1), the back cover partly separated from the block (Vol.3).
The publication was timed with the 150th anniversary of the privileged educational institution, founded by the initiative of I. I. Betsky in
accordance with the Decree of Catherine II dated May 5, 1764. The essay is based on materials extracted from the personal libraries of the reigning
persons, the St. Petersburg and Moscow archives of the Imperial court, the Moscow main archive of the Ministry of foreign Affairs and
many other government and family archives and considered the most complete source of information about the life of the Smolny Institute.
