Two important grammar books, on Hebrew grammar and Hebrew poetry, by the grammarian Rabbi Moshe ben Shem-Tov ibn Chaviv.
Leaf [25, b-26, a]: Tachbulah by Rabbi Avraham ibn Ezra.
Notation in Italian script on the title page. On the last leaf, a comment with a different Siman about the tale of the Tachbulah by Rabbi Avraham ibn Ezra.
Rabbi Moshe ben Shem-Tov ibn Chaviv (1450-1520): was a Hebrew poet and grammarian. Was born in Lisbon, Portugal. Traveled to Spain, Arabia and possibly, France and eventually settled in Bitonto, Italy. He wrote books on Hebrew grammar and the poetry of Spanish Sages and was knowledgeable about philosophy too. His commentary on Sefer Bechinat Olam by Yedaya Hapnini is quoted by later commentators of the work.
