The sale presents the philatelic history of Eretz Israel and the Jewish people, from the Ottoman period to the State of Israel. It includes a wide range of postal and historical items: covers, postcards, and stamps from Eretz Israel during the Ottoman Empire, the foreign post offices in the Levant, the British Mandate, the transitional period and the Provisional Government, as well as early Doar Ivri postal material from the first years of the state.
The sale also includes items related to antisemitism, the Holocaust, and She’erit HaPleta (the Jewish Displaced Persons and survivors after World War II), including documents, postcards, and propaganda material that reflect important chapters in Jewish history during the 20th century.
Also included are coins from the British Mandate period, banknotes, pattern issues, as well as silver coins from around the world.
In addition, the sale offers medals, Zionist and KKL items, historical photographs, Israeliana, silverware, jewelry, watches, and other collectible items.
